Shashin
What Shashin Is
Shashin is a small utility that generates photo gallery webpages. It resizes and adjusts the resolution of
the image files to be used and generates the HTML with user-specified styles.
Basically Shahsin does the gruntwork with the images and basic page layout and leaves the page design up to the user.
What Shashin Is Not
Shashin is not a web page editor, so don't expect to find easy controls to change the background colour,
or to add drop shadows. All that can be specified through the CSS tab
(knowledge of CSS syntax required).
What does "Shashin" mean?
The word "Shashin" (pronounced sha-SHEE-n) is Japanese for "photograph". That's also how the Kanji
(Chinese charactors) in the top left of this page and on the About tab say.
What Shashin can do
What you need to run Shashin
To run Shashin 1.1 and above, you need the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1,
which is currently only available for the Microsoft Windows series of operating systems.
